• AAIF The Linux Foundation body, formed December 2025, that gives the agentic web's load-bearing protocols — MCP, goose and AGENTS.md — a neutral, vendor-independent governance home.
• W3C The international web standards body that incubates agentic-web specs such as WebMCP (via its Web Machine Learning Community Group) and stewards the schema.org and Verifiable Credentials foundations agents build on.
