Who's behind the almanac
About the author
The person and practice behind AGENTS WELCOME.
AGENTS WELCOME (agentswelcome.dev) is researched, written and maintained by Özden Erdinc — an AI Architect for the Semantic Web. It is a vendor-neutral, self-demonstrating reference for the agentic web: every agent-readiness and semantic-SEO technique it documents, it also implements, so you can verify each claim with a single request.
The author
Özden Erdinc builds agent-ready, semantically optimized websites using Koray Tugberk Gübür's semantic-SEO methodology — Topical Authority, the EAV model, entity consolidation and Cost of Retrieval. He runs Studio Erdinc, the web studio in Wetzikon that does that work for clients — and that built and optimised this site. He also publishes AI Automation Hub, a free knowledge portal on AI automation for Swiss SMEs.

How is this site researched, checked and corrected?
Every factual claim on AGENTS WELCOME is tied to a named source with a date, or it is labelled as unverified. The rules below are the editorial guidelines the author works by; they apply to all 258 pages.
Research
- Primary sources first. Vendor documentation, RFCs and specifications outrank secondary reporting. Every Almanac record links the document it was checked against and carries a
last_verifieddate that is visible on its page and in its JSON. - Numbers carry organization and year. A figure without a source is not published. A figure that only a secondary source reports is labelled “reported by <name>, <date>, not independently audited” and never appears as a bare number.
- Models are labelled as models. Where the site presents a synthesized framework (for example the citation-signal weights), the text says so and does not dress it up as a measurement.
Checking
- Self-demonstration is the test. Each technique the site describes is implemented on the site, so every claim can be checked with one request — the same request the text shows.
- Automated proofs run before every release: the test suite (content negotiation, API contracts, dataset integrity, structured-data parity), a full crawl of all internal links for non-200 targets, a bot-access check with every AI crawler’s user agent, and a semantic-HTML check (heading order, table captions and scopes, one
main). - One author, no separate reviewer. The site is written and reviewed by Özden Erdinc. There is no “reviewed by” line because none would be true; review from outside happens through the channels below.
Dates and corrections
- Dates are derived, not typed. The publication and update date on every page come from the page’s git history (or the record’s own verification date). A date moves only when the content moves; changing a date without a change behind it is treated as an error.
- Changes are logged. Substantive changes appear in the changelog, also as an Atom feed, and in the “What’s new?” box of the pages they touch.
- Corrections are welcome. Report an error by email to contact@agentswelcome.dev. Confirmed errors are fixed on the page, noted in the changelog, and the page’s update date moves with the fix.
- Images are illustrations. Hero images are AI-generated illustrations, decorative and marked as such; no claim depends on an image.
